Scoop-a-PALOOZA
Scoop-a-Palooza is an ice cream lover's dream on a hot July day. Ice cream vendors set up shop in the high school’s cafeteria with flavors ranging from the traditional vanilla and chocolate to cinnamon roll. Attendees will vote for their favorites in each of five categories: Best Vanilla, Best Chocolate, Best Fruit, Best Creative Flavor and Kids’ Choice. The Golden Scoop will go to the creamery who receives the majority of votes.
Scoop-a-Palooza, now in its 14th year, has traditionally been held at Chambersburg Area Senior High School on the second Saturday in July. Scoop benefits the Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation - a 501(c)3 organization – working with educational and business partners to promote education, leadership, and workforce development in Franklin County.
